The city of Valdez is surrounded by mountains and right on the ocean. It is really beautiful!

They average over 320 inches of snow a year! The record snowfall was around 550 inches a few years ago. We plopped the kids in a drift along the sidewalk, they thought that was pretty neat.

We made many trips to the library while Jason was working. It was right down the street from the motel.

Janae loves wearing dresses and having her hair done. So here she is ready for Sunday morning!

James loves to do puzzles. After he finishes he almost always throws his hands in the air and says, "hooray, I did it!"


Janae and James with their fun pancakes! (Uncle Jerry and Aunt Erin got them pancake molds for Christmas!) Pancakes are always a favorite in our house!
