All Dolled Up

Todd and Laura took Janae and Amelia to the Nutcracker performance in Anchorage. Amelia stayed the night here last night and the first thing both girls asked this morning was, "Can we put on our dresses for the Nutcracker now?" They have been looking forward to this day for months - literally! They had a splendid time and have some great memories!

More Soccer

Fun with the parachute!

James also enjoyed soccer. He loved kicking the ball, drinking from the water bottle and most of all, receiving a stamp from the coach afterward! (Especially when they gave him one on each hand!)

Soccer

Janae played L'il Kickers Soccer this fall. She had a great time even though she was the only girl in her group. When I asked her what she learned she said, "not to pick up the ball with my hands and how to hop on one foot!" She would "practice" hopping on one foot at home and was truly excited when she could make it from one side of the court to the other only hopping on one foot!

Happy Halloween??

James was Bard from Baby Einstein

Janae had to be Princess Cinderella.

I know, you're thinking Halloween was two months ago!! Where has time gone? We just made four stops, but had a great time with our friends!

"Look how we've grown!"

James turns 2!

James is now the big 2 year old! Where has time gone??? We had a great time with family and friends!

Fun with Grandpa and Great Grandma

They love to read books!

Alright!

Heading out for the glacier cruise!

Elmo Action

Uncle Jerry and Aunt Erin got the kids (and I) tickets to see Elmo Action. We all enjoyed it! Six weeks later we went to the Sullivan Arena for the Home Show and James said "Elmo Action" and both were very excited. I was the bearer of bad news letting them know that it was not Elmo Action!

One Sunny Day

The weather this summer wasn't the greatest. You could count the number of truly sunny days on one hand!! Here is the last one we enjoyed - up at Willow Creek with our friends the Moore family!

Vacation and a Surprise!

Having fun at Chucky Cheese!
It was too hot not to wear a sundress!

When we got back, Jason had a surprise for the kids. This is Phase 1 of the play yard. Swings, a fort and a rock wall will soon be added. The kids were sooooo excited to play on it! To get it finished in time, Jason stayed up past midnight most nights. Thanks to Uncle Jerry, Brian, Sean, Wyatt, Nate & Levi for their help too!

Father's Day the kids helped paint the stairs. What could be more fun than a BIG can of paint and a BIG paintbrush?? Since Sunday, they have played continually outside. Janae wakes up and asks if she can slide - before she even thinks about breakfast!!

Random Pictures

Before James' (third) haircut.

After! He is getting so big. Talking more and more everyday and changing into a "big boy".

Thought they were too cute not to share!

James with Uncle Jerry --- roasting marshmallows!

James and Daddy on the "tractor". Both kids love to ride along.

Memorial Day weekend (also our 11th anniversary) we did some landscaping in our front yard. It was a beautiful weekend and the kids enjoyed having the Bobcat at the house. Sorry I don't have a picture of the landscaping!

Sea Life Center

This past weekend we took a trip to the Sea Life Center in Seward. It was a beautiful day and a great trip. It was the first time Jason and I had been to the Sea Life Center and we enjoyed it just as much as the kids. Enjoy the pictures!

How to Celebrate Easter

First: Dye some Easter eggs with friends.

Second: Enjoy a sunrise service, yummy breakfast and hunt for some eggs!

Third: Get all fancy and learn why we celebrate Easter. Janae tells me, "Jesus died on the cross for all of us, for our sins!"

Snowboots and Swimsuits

Snowboots and swimsuits...typical attire for around the house. I only wish I could keep them fully clothed at all times! The kids also had fun building a snowman with Daddy and James loves his John Deere hat (and shirt, and tractor, and book...)
